  • The Real Thing This one was a tough call -- there is no standard notation sheet music -- just lyrics and chords to a whole slew of jazz standards. However, jazz chording is a whole different world to itself -- I never event knew about flatted fifths, elevenths, thirteenths, and all the other delightful jazz chords till I picked up a Joe Pass book a couple of years ago. It opened up a whole new world for me -- if nothing else, I now have a much (MUCH MUCH MUCH) better understanding of a walking bass line and how it works. Even though there's no sheet music, this site makes the list simply because of the chords. Well worth a look!
